Mary Welty-Dapkus
A graduate of Santa Clara University with a B.A. in Humanities and a minor in Psychology and Education, Mary is a certified transformational life coach and intuitive consultant trained by Martha Beck, PhD and holds a masters certification in Intuitive Medicine (MIM) from the Academy of Intuition Medicine®. Mary launched her coaching practice, Set In Motion, in 2009 and works one-on-one with clients “combining the transformational gifts of an intuitive with the practical skills of a life coach who can help you get clear on your desires and move forward in the direction of your dreams.”
Mary served for three years on the Board of Directors at Casa di Mir Montessori Elementary School and two years with Girls Lead Now as a mentor and Board Member. Mary is also the Associate Director of Foothill Music Theatre located in Los Altos Hills and is proud of her 20 year association with this award-winning musical theatre company. Additionally, Mary is a CEU instructor and teaches a course through IDCEC (Interior Design Continuing Education Council) entitled Unleashing Creativity and Tapping Into Your Intuition. Married for 25 years, Mary is the mother of two amazing children. An active school community member, Mary has extensive experience organizing auctions, fundraisers and managing volunteer programs. Mary is passionate about intuitive coaching, education, theatre, holistic health and brilliantly colored circles – from buttons to M & M’s, she loves them all.
Bernadette Dunham
Teaching high school English since 1998, Bernadette is currently serving as a reading interventionist, English teacher, and an advisor to “at-risk” students in the Santa Clara Unified School District. Bernadette has a genuine concern for the well being of her students, both inside and outside of the classroom. Her teaching style blends a fantastic sense of humor with creativity and an extensive knowledge of subject matter. She presents the curriculum with high interest material that sparks the students innate love of learning. Always willing to go the extra mile for a laugh, she loves the idea that students come to class with anticipation because they never know what she's going to do next.
Bernadette graduated with a B.A. in English from Fresno State in 1996 and received her teaching credential from National University in 1998. During her free time, Bernadette can usually be found playing with her dogs, reading on her patio, surfing the internet, or goofing off with her family and friends. However, life hasn't always been this fortunate for Bernadette. She honestly admits the biggest challenge she's had to face was herself. Taking the time to look inward and do what was suggested, allowed her heart to heal from within. Having left her luggage in the past, Bernadette is now free to wander wherever inspiration leads.
